Sod Web Worms (Lawn Caterpillars)
Using a product with the active ingredient Chlorantraniliprole, we are able to prevent damage from lawn caterpillars for up to 90 days. This puts the optimal treatment range between the middle of May and the end of June. (Some years they appear earlier than others).
Pre-treatment Option
Integrity customers, we are now offering a sod web worm (lawn caterpillars) pre-treatment option.
The way the product works is by creating a systemic base in the turf that will kill the caterpillars as they begin to feed, (there are no products that can effectively kill the adult moths).
